Today is day 10 of my daily blogging practice!
I’m really excited about this because this is the 3rd time I’ve attempted to start a blog, and it finally feels like it’s going somewhere.
When I first tried to launch a blog I would spend hours upon hours trying to craft the perfect blog post.
I was able to crank out 2 or 3 before I got burnt out and decided to call it quits.
Keep It Simple. Stay Consistent.
This time around I’m keeping it simple. I’m writing for an hour each day, spending no more than 20 minutes editing, and then I’m committed to hitting post no matter what.
When you get wrapped up in perfectionism you risk never shipping your work at all.
If you want people to notice you then you have to show up consistently.
If you struggle with posting content on a regular basis then I want to challenge you to start posting something every day.
The quality of your content may not be as good at first, but after a while you’ll be able to create remarkable content on a daily basis.
For some extra motivation, check out this 10 Day Challenge I created. It will help you overcome your fear of sharing your art, and is a great way to start building your habit of daily posting.
Just remember, no one can become a fan of your work if they don’t know you exist.
Now get to posting!
And as always, Make Great Art.
